Steps to Study Abroad

This is the first step in your study abroad adventure! Complete the steps outlined below to submit your application. If you plan on studying abroad, it is best to submit your application and deposit as soon as possible. Delayed submission of your application and deposit can potentially hinder your ability to get the maximum amount of scholarships and grants available to you.

  1. Set up a Study Abroad 101 appointment with the Global Education Office.
    • In this appointment, we will go over programs of interest, financial aid and scholarship options, and where study abroad would fit into your degree plan. Appointments typically take between 15-30 minutes.
  2. Apply for your program(s) of choice! Applications for each program can be found below or on the program's page.
  3. Pay your $250 deposit. Your deposit secures your spot into your study abroad program and makes you eligible for the Global Education Office scholarship. Without your deposit, your study abroad application is incomplete!
  4. Check your email. Additional documents to sign will be sent to the email you listed on your study abroad application. These documents will also need to be submitted to complete your study abroad application.
  5. Once you have completed your documents, you will get an email letting you know your study abroad application is complete! Some documents might require further review before being checked complete so "completed application" emails might be delayed.
