University Zoom Licenses

We now have Zoom licenses available for Staff and Faculty members employed by Midwestern State University. In order to use your license, follow the instructions below.

Web Browser

  1. Navigate to https://msutexas-edu.zoom.us in your web browser.
  2. Sign in using your MSU credentials
  3. If you have created a Zoom account before, you will see the message below, asking you to sign into the new Zoom account owned by Jim.Hall. Click Switch to the new account to continue. Otherwise, proceed to step 4.
    You are currently a membery of the Zoom account, and you are trying to sign into the new Zoom account jim.hall@msutexas.edu. If you want to swtich to become a member of the account jim.hall@msutexas.edu, click the button below within 24 hours.

  4. From this page, you may do the following:
    1. Click Join to connect to a meeting already in progress
    2. Click Host to start a new meeting
    3. Click Sign in to connect an existing account to MSU, or change your account preferences.
      Video Conferencing. Join. Host. Sign in.

Web Browser and Desktop App

  1. Navigate to https://www.zoom.com, or open the Desktop app if you have it installed
  2. Click the Sign in link in the upper right-hand corner.
    Click the "Sign in" link on the Zoom.com homepage. Join a Meeting, Host a meeting, Sign in.

  3. You will need to choose the Sign in with SSO link below the credentials boxes
    Email Address, Paaword, Sign in, Sign in with SSO, Sign in with Google, Sign in with Facebook.

  4. In the Company Domain box, type msutexas-edu and then click “Continue”
    Company Domain: msutexas-edu.zoom.us

  5. If you have created a Zoom account before, you will see the message below, asking you to sign into the new Zoom account owned by Jim.Hall@msutexas.edu. Click Switch to the new account to continue. Otherwise, proceed to step 6.
    You are currently a membery of the Zoom account, and you are trying to sign into the new Zoom account jim.hall@msutexas.edu. If you want to swtich to become a member of the account jim.hall@msutexas.edu, click the button below within 24 hours.

  6. Sign in with your MSU credentials.
