The Criminal Justice Program offers a variety of internships which provide students with the opportunity to gain actual working experience in local criminal justice agencies. Students are selected by the faculty through a competitive process and are paid a stipend while working. Internships are available at the Wichita Falls Police Department, the Wichita County Sheriff's Department, Wichita County Criminal District Attorney's Office and the Wichita County Public Defender's Office. Students who are planning to attend law school may intern in local law offices.
