Given that psychology is the study of human behavior and mental process, psychology is a perfect companion to any major, providing a foundation for personal and vocational success!

Students have two options when minoring in psychology.  

 

General Psychology Minor  

Students completing the General Psychology Minor are able to create their own curriculum.  Specifically, students must complete the following courses:

PSYC 1103 - General Psychology 

PSYC 2203 - General Psychology II

12 Additional advanced hours chosen in consultation with the student's advisor.

Psychology Minor Degree Plan

 
Organizational Psychology Minor

Students completing the Organizational Psychology Minor will complete the following courses:

PSYC 1103 - General Psychology 

PSYC 2203 - General Psychology II

PSYC 3703 - Theories of Motivation

PSYC 3913 - Personal Relations and Interactions

PSYC 4113 - Industrial Organizational Psychology

 

3 hours from the following courses

PSYC 3503 - Social Behavior and Cognition

PSYC 4003 - Theories of Learning

PSYC 4503 - Psychological Tests and Evaluations
